Abstract: Novel copolymers of dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid aided poly (aniline-co-m-chloroaniline) nanocomposites of various compositions were prepared by oxidative method in micellar solution. The nanocomposites were analyzed by using UV-Vis and FT-IR spectroscopic methods. The crystalline nature of the polymer was evidenced through XRD patterns. SEM revealed the presence of particles with spherical morphology 100 nm in diameter. These copolymer nanocomposites showed a remarkably improved solvability in organic solvents. The electrical activity of the doped polymer was found to be content increasing from 3:1 to 3:3 0.08 x 10-2 S/cm to 5.64 x 10-7 S/cm with chloroaniline.
