Abstract: A brief exhaustive summary review of the various advances in the development of energy efficient distributed cooperative routing protocol for wireless sensor n/w’s in the current scenario is presented in a nut shell in this research article. This paper just gives a in-depth scenario into the various works of the authors & lays a foundation for the proposition of the works that could be done by the future researchers in the area of wireless sensor networks.
