Abstract: This paper proposes a high-frequency-link soft switching pulse-width dc–dc converter for ibattery chargers. Zero-voltage switching of power switches is achieved from light load to full load. Reverse recovery losses can be reduced in the secondary side output diodes without using any additional circuit components. Zero-current switching of output diodes is achieved by using the series-resonant circuit in the secondary side .The circulating current in the primary side full-bridge circuit can be changed by the operation modes of the output diode current. As a result, a high efficiency can be achieved for EV on-board battery chargers. The performance of the proposed converter is evaluated throughout Matlab Simulation results ifor ia 2.0- kW icircuit
