Abstract: The dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) is a radio antenna mostly used at millimeter wave frequencies in the microwave industries for the communication systems. In the previous literature review papers as compared with the other antennas like micro strip antenna radiation occurs due to narrow slots where as in DRA radiation due to whole DRA surface and also avoid surface waves. The variant structures in DRA are presented for providing good radiation efficiency, bandwidth (B.W) & gain. The trapezoidal Conformal patch feed transmission line is used in this paper which is excited with swastika shape DRA. The trapezoidal micro strip patch is integrated to the DRA thus no air gap will be created in the antenna and the interpretations are improved. Due to this impedance bandwidth is improved by 88%. In this wideband antenna covers c-band (4-8GHz) in the spectrum and achieved the maximum gain is 8.3dB. This antenna is mainly designed and used for applications as satellite communication transmissions, some WIFI devices, some cordless telephones, aeronautical navigation systems, maritime radio navigation systems, mobile, radio navigations, and some weather radar system etc.
